This 14-day Sri Lanka Adventure is named after the area where we visit to See the Native people of Sri lanka. The tour focuses on the Misty mountainous highlands, Cascading water falls, Lush Tea Plantations Sri lanka northern east costs and south costs, Man Made Reservoirs, Flora & fauna Etc.. The Adventure begins and ends in Negombo Sri lanka which is 20 Min Drive from Colombo International Airport.. The city is an ideal location from which to base our Adventures tours.

Arrival :

Arrive to Katunayake (Colombo) International Airport & Shuttled to Our Guest House In Negombo or Preferred Beach Hotel in Negombo .Kickoff meeting & dinner.

Day 1 Sigiriya         
After short brief of the tour schedule our first location is to see the Negombo fish market & Dutch fort. Then we heading to Sigiriya rock fortress and dambulla cave temple.  After seeing these heritage sites, we focus on an elephant riding in habarana around Lake Circle.  

Day 2 Trinco

On day two we get back to our “Horses” leading to Trincomalee. Through the dense forest where could see the wild elephants, mongoose, peacocks, water monitors etc. Completing 100kms you can get the experience of Natural hot well springs at Kinniyar village. Then we head to Nilaweli pigeon’s island which is famous for scuba divers. In the evening we relax along the beach hotel.

Day 3 .Polonnaruwa

Polonnaruwa is our next visit. On trail to Polonnaruwa we get the novel experience of sailing on the sea to mutur jetty where it's started from Trinco. Concluding 50km we find beautiful "Passikuddah" & Kalkudah Beach where you have an opportunity swimming at the shallow waters. Before the dawn we reach to 2nd Kingdom of Sri Lanka which calls Polonnaruwa.

Day 4 Mahiyangana.

After b-fast we saddle on the bikes & ride to the citadel of King Parakramabahu the great in Polonnaruwa. It will take nearly 4 hours for the sightseeing as well. Leaving the ancient city we head on to the "Dambana" passing by lush greenery, Vegetable & rice fields, Huge reservoirs where you could see the Sri Lankan Aborigine’s (Vaddah) people. With the dawn we are participating in entertainment of Vaddah people’s traditional dances.

Day 5 knuckles range

In the early morning we walk to “Sorabora” Lake to see the Sunrise & Bird watching & trekking to see the cascading "Rathna Ella" waterfalls. Then we get back on the bikes & lead to awesome Knuckles mountain range in Corbett’s Gap. After reaching Corbett’s gap we visit Meemure Rural Village & meet Native people. There it’s an opportunity to experience what it is like to live in the ancient isolated village of Meemure.  The village is situated deep in the Knuckles Wilderness, where the local people have maintained their traditional and cultural attitudes towards the forest’s existence.  They rely heavily on the forest for their survival and gain as much as 63% of their total income from the forest resources.

 

Day 6 Kandy

This is the most exciting day for you all to get an unforgettable off road jungle ride through Knuckles Mountains to Rangala Rural Village & Stay overnight in Kandy.

Day 7 rest day (no bikes today)
We enjoy the salubrious climate in Kandy & it’s a last kingdom of Sri Lanka. In the evening we visit Tooth Relic temple & participate Traditional Kandyan Dance performance at B.M.I.C.H building.

Day 8 Haputhale

We get back to the saddles & rising up the hilly area while seeing waterfalls, Tea plantations, Panoramic view of mountains. Looking around the Nuwaraeliya city which called Little England where we could see the Colonial English Made buildings. Head to Horton’s Plaints where we can enjoy riding “Hairpin” roads. After trekking at Horton’s Plaints & we return to Haputhale village  

 

Day 9 Tissamaharama - Yala National Park

Climb up the climax of the tea plantation which made by world famous Sir "Lipton". On the top we can see the six provinces & sailing ships on the eastern cost on clear days. After Zipping Lipton’s Tea pot we proceed to see the Diyaluma waterfalls via poonagala mountain range. Destination will be at Tissamaharama village where could see the Leopards & different kind of animals, Birds on your way to Yala Safari.

 

Day 10 Mirissa

In the Morning say good bye to Yala & Travel along the costal belt up to Unawatuna which is a most famous beach in Sri lanka. On the way we find Mirissa Village here we brief about the Mirissa and its breathtaking sandy beach pretty much transforms your dreams and visions of a tropical paradise into an everyday reality. Located close to the Southern tip of the Island of Sri Lanka and only about 200 km from the Equator, this secluded crescent shaped beach is the perfect place to sit back, relax and forget about all the hustle and bustle of your other life that’s a million miles away.

Day 11

Rest Day on Beach.

Day 12

After Breakfast we prepare for the last day ride of our wonderful journey of Sri lanka. Today's Highlights, Dutch fort, Turtle Farm, Stilt Fisherman's, Watch Toddy Tapping in Payagala. After reaching Negombo we drive to Sha Lanka tour base & return the bikes & transfer you to Beach Hotel In Negombo.

Day 13

Rest day on the beach, do some last minute shopping In Colombo by arranged minibus from our company, a farewell meal. Hopefully you will have had the trip of a lifetime and made new life long friends & Departure.
